A little over 12 months ago, I joined Good Life Sorted to launch their Helper service across Devon and Cornwall, starting from scratch, without any helpers or customers and no brand presence in the region whatsoever.
What a journey it has been!
My referrals have grown consistently throughout the year, and I’m thrilled that Q4 2025 is already our best performing quarter on record.
In our first month, I only received 4 referrals. Nothing unusual about that; Good Life Sorted were an unknown entity in the region and I needed to build brand awareness and trust.
Referrals quadrupled again in the new year and then rose again in the spring.
Targeted with 45 referrals for Q2, I closed out with 46!
Even with a small seasonal dip in the summer, autumn saw another 33% uplift to a total of 200 referrals to date and this number increases daily!
And from where I began, the service has grown to having 36 active helpers in Devon and Cornwall and 6 more onboarding right now.
These numbers represent something far bigger. Real people supported, new Helpers joining our community, and trust built with organisations, charities and healthcare teams who trusted me and believed in the organisation from day one. I’m deeply grateful to every single one of them.
As my contract with GLS now comes to a close, I’m leaving knowing I’ve achieved exactly what I set out to do. I’m incredibly proud of the foundation I’ve built and I’m excited to watch this brilliant service continue to thrive. Currently closing out at 68 referrals for Q4.
